Having eclectic interests and experiences has enabled me to see those who share my professional and personal interests through a very different lens. I have occasionally attempted to assemble a type of reference for others who share any of these interests but have come up short for various reasons. With the advances in web content management, operating system and other technological advances, I have a suitable platform for sharing – welcome to the “Wizard of Odd”.

Retro1.Org was created to summarize the combined work of various projects:
- PLATO project at University of Illinois Computer-Based Education Research Laboratory [CERL] and the developments there that launched many careers.
- IBM 1130 and System 360/370.
- CDC Supercomputers (CYBER series) from the 1970s through 1990s.
All of those areas are consolidated into one place… I hope you find the resources here useful / helpful.
